Join M/FW in celebrating and supporting creatives in fashion, jewellery, and the broader art communities. Collins Square is set to host an exhibition centred around the theme Big Things, which holds significant cultural importance in Australia. This capsule aims to provide local artists, designers, and makers with a platform to showcase their creativity and talent on a large scale.

This capsule celebrates the humble market, an age-old hub for community and expression. Traditionally a space where young makers can experiment and interact with their customers, it’s a scene where some of Australia&#8217;s biggest names in fashion started. It’s fitting that this capsule is located in Melbourne’s beloved Queen Victoria Market, and includes designers whose ideas were planted there but have since grown beyond its walls.

This is an opportunity for a closer look at one-off items that illustrate fashion’s capacity for evolution and innovation.

Discover curated, unique pieces and timeless keepsakes expressing age-old stories from a thriving community embracing creativity, innovation, and diversity.

Marking the 60th anniversary of the Australian Ballet, the Collins Place forecourt is offering a glimpse into the company’s costume archives. Celebrate the creativity, expression, and talent behind fifteen beautiful tutus selected by Artistic Director, David Hallberg. The exhibition spans almost six decades of extraordinary performances, including Don Quixote (Nureyev) 1970, Coppelia 1979, The Nutcracker 1992, and Sleeping Beauty 2015, and more.
