Please see below for details on what we request from you if you are attending an in-person event and what we are doing to ensure a COVID-safe M/FW. The health and safety of both the public and participants have been foremost in the design of M/FW 2021 events and each M/FW event has its own COVID-safe plan in place.
All of the COVID-safe requirements are subject to change and will be in accordance with the requirements of the Victorian Chief Health Officer and also specifically the Victorian Public Events Framework.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us by emailing mfw@melbourne.vic.gov.au and remember to always refer to the latest information on the DHHS website.
In line with Victoria’s Roadmap, all Melbourne Fashion Week attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a valid medical exemption.
Confirmation of attendee vaccination status will be required when checking in on site to gain entry.
Those who are exempt will need a certificate from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR). This is the only form of exemption M/FW will accept. Please speak to your GP on how to obtain an exemption certificate.
This policy aims to protect Melbourne Fashion Week attendees and staff from the transmission of COVID-19.
This policy does not apply to those attendees who are not yet approved by the Government for a vaccination (e.g. children under 12 years), who will be granted entry.
For easy entry to the M/FW venues, please ensure you have your COVID-19 digital certificate linked to your Service Victoria check-in app or available in Express Plus Medicare. Instructions on linking to the Service Victoria app.
