Be transported back to the retro era in this bespoke Boulevard Pop Up runway as we shine a light on the magnitude of sustainable retro brands of Melbourne. Big glasses, short skirts and long wide trousers, Retro Boulevard will transport Melbourne back in time to show how this fashion trend is always on trend. There will be key references to circular fashion, sustainability, and up cycling.
The first Retro Boulevard pop up runway session will start at 10am at No Vacancy Gallery QV and continuing on through Red Cape Lane. The models and onlookers will circle back to the M/FW Hub at QV Square for a performance by Aubrey Haive. You might remember Aubrey from RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under!
The second session will star at 11am on the steps of Flinders Street Station, then roving through Degraves Street to MIDAS Shoes on Flinders Lane, through the Centre Way Arcade to Block Arcade.
