Up on the first floor of Melbourne’s iconic Nicholas Building, the Then and Now runway imagines retro and pre-loved pieces as they were in their own era, and then restyled for today. It offers plenty of inspiration for keeping the clothing of the past in the present, touching on the sustainability of second-hand fashion. Then and Now: A Retro Runway is brought to life with merchandise from Retro Star, a local retailer of vintage clothing for over 20 years, as well as pieces from the store owner’s enviable personal collection.
