Inspired by the sweeping craze of ‘Barbiecore’ fashion, Kangan Institute is opening the doors to a world of childlike playfulness and imagination. The Dollhouse Runway features capsule garments from High School VETIS, Diploma and Advanced Diploma students, as well as Kangan alumni. In collaboration with Red Cross Shops, students cut, shape and re-design existing garments to create inventive and adventurous silhouettes that pay homage to generations of iconic dolls. Bringing the looks to life, the fashion students will then team up with hairdressing and beauty students to complement their designs with doll-like hair and makeup styling.
