Chieka Takahashi

Designs by Takahashi explores the theme of being a sexual minority in Japan. Her collection represents those who are concealing their sexuality through clothing, while still embracing confidence and fulfilment through self-empowerment. Expect black tulle and denim fabric throughout to represent strength.

Kana Mizuno

Mizuno has created her collection around themes inspired by track and field. Featuring a new take on wardrobe staple - the trench coat – the collection also looks to spiked shoes worn by athletes at athletic events. Her five looks have taken notes from sprint, long distance, long jump, high jump and javelin.

Tadao Sugawara

This Osaka-based designer has created a collection featuring designs inspired by nature and the details found in everyday life. Sugawara hopes to share his culture and traditions and does so through his use of fabrics which feature shibori – a traditional Japanese dying technique method.
