Expect the unexpected at this special Melbourne Fashion Week event. In an Australian exclusive, Melbourne-bred, Paris-based designer Martin Grant stages a solo runway show at this decadent dining experience, which pays homage to the changing seasons.
From the dark depths of a winter’s night to the first hint of summer, guests will be taken on a multi-sensory journey through fashion, food, light and sound. Starring an inspired menu created by renowned Melbourne chef Ian Curley (European, City Wine Shop, Siglo), this black-tie, three-course feast features Martin Grant’s most recent winter and summer collections.
Guests will treated to champagne and canapés on arrival, bespoke cocktails channelling the four seasons, an exclusive gift bag, and unexpected, enchanting performances throughout the evening.
With limited spaces available, MFW’s Gala Dinner is a truly unique fashion experience not to be missed.
Born in Melbourne, Martin Grant launched his first ready-to-wear collection at the age of 16. Now based in France, he became the second-ever Australian designer to be invited to show on the official Paris Fashion Week schedule.
“Martin Grant focuses on his silhouettes as if they’re a fine art. He is constantly finessing the lengthening effect of his trousers and jumpsuits, and creates cocktail dresses that look good from up close and afar.” – Vogue.com
Ian Curley is the Executive Chef at European, City Wine Shop, The Melbourne Supper Club, Siglo Rooftop Bar, French Saloon and Kirk’s Wine Bar, as well as Consulting Chef to Melbourne Racing Club.
This event is for guests ages 18+.
